This session will begin with a review of the 4 domains of communicative competence for AAC as presented by Janice Light in 1989. Case Studies will then be presented to allow participants the opportunity to practice brainstorming and writing IEP goals that utilize these 4 domains in relation to different possible goal areas of the Utah curriculum (Language Arts, Math, Behavior, Speech and Language, etc).
